6-Brush Drive-Through Bus Wash

Designed for Washing Transit Buses with Bike Racks

The Westmatic 6-Brush Drive-Through bus wash system is designed for fleets with a high volume wash schedule. This system is capable of washing transit buses, with front-mounted bike racks, with brushes. The wash cycle time is approximately 90 seconds.

This system was specially engineered for transit bus fleets, with front mounted bicycle racks in mind. Westmatic is proud to offer a safe and effective way of washing above and around bike racks with brushes.  

Manufactured with hot-dipped galvanized framework, the bus wash is configured with two sets of vertical brushes, and a set of specially designed bicycle rack brushes. The two sets of vertical brushes are capable of washing the front, sides and rear of the vehicle. The front and and rear of the vehicle are scrubbed with the first set of vertical brushes, utilizing our industry exclusive overlapping brush movements. The second set of brushes are used for counter-rotation. Reversing the rotation of the second set of brushes helps to alleviate shadowing along the sides of the vehicle. The third set of brush are designed to wash on either side of the bicycle rack.

Westmatic's brushes are electronically controlled, therefore eliminating the need for costly, high-maintenance pneumatic air cylinder components. Thanks to this advanced engineering, our brushes will safely and effectively provide brilliant wash results for years to come.
